We are conveniently located on the side street that connects Glade Road to Highway 26 in the center of Colleyville. Free parking is available.
Our regular office hours are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30 am – 5 pm
- Wednesday: 8:30 am -1 pm
The office is closed from 12 pm – 2:30 pm for lunch and addressing administrative tasks.
Special arrangements can be made to be seen on Saturday mornings, if necessary.
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Dr. Richard and they will contact us.

At Jonathan Richard, MD, PA, we accept all commercial insurance plans except Aetna and HMO-type health care insurance plans. Please contact us to find out if we participate in your insurance plan.
Dr. Richard does charge an additional fee to patients who are covered by commercial insurance to offset the additional administrative burdens imposed on our office by commercial insurance plans. Here is an explanation of the fee and why it is charged.
Dr. Richard no longer participates in the Medicare program of health care coverage. Patients who have Medicare as their primary health care insurance are welcome to see Dr. Richard (and he still has many patients who do so), but must pay for services on their own and will not be reimbursed by Medicare or Medicare secondary insurance due to federal government regulations.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay for services at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

If Dr. Richard suggests a specialist evaluation or diagnostic testing that requires a referral, we will make every effort to provide this for you as soon as possible.
Some referrals require insurance preauthorization and cannot be processed immediately. Insurance guidelines prohibit us from backdating referrals. We require three business days for the processing of routine referrals.
Dr. Richard is affiliated with Texas Health Resources HEB Hospital.
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Dr. Richard are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). Please contact your pharmacy to request the refill, who will then fax us a request. This facilitates the documentation that we like to keep and, overall, is more convenient for the office staff. It is our policy that any refill requests received by us between 8:30 am and 12 pm are completed by 2:30 pm, and any requests received between 12 pm and 4:30 pm are completed no later than 5:30 pm, unless there are questions or clarifications that have not been addressed. (Pharmacies will routinely blame us for medication refill delays when it is actually problems on their end causing the delays.)
No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctor does not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
